Vancouver Museum
Although small in size, this museum has a lot to offer. The Vancouver Museum is called the museum with a view because of its location right on the water. Before checking out the exhibits, you can see great views of the city and mountains. Exhibits change regularly. Most of the exhibits focus on the cultures that affected the changes of the city. One of the main exhibits there focuses on the old architecture of Chinatown while another focuses on the Japanese and their involvement into Vancouver's culture.
Granville Island
Known for its shops, cafes, and boardwalk experience, this island is a great place to just walk around. Browse through its various souvenir shops or take in the view of the harbor. Enjoy the entertainment that Granville has to offer like their festivals and theatre offering free live performances. The islands atmosphere itself just screams fun. Grouse Mountain
Only located 15 minutes away from Vancouver, this steep mountain attracts just about everyone who visits. In the summer enjoy its lush grass and towering trees. Take in one of the Lumber Jack shows that the mountain has to offer or enjoy its sky ride all the way up to the peak of Vancouver. In the wintertime, take on one of Canada's most enjoyable sleigh rides. When you've finished your ride, be sure to take some time to take in the memorizing view of a snow filled mountain.
